Had chiro all through childhood, it ended up being more damaging for me than helpful but that was just me.
I found a question and answer on Google that just doesn't make sense to me. First I read that it may be different in different people,, meaning (?} that it could be autoimmune. Then it says Fibro is not autoimmune, which I thought it is. So, here's Google's answer.

It appears that Fibromyalgia has become a diagnosis that is applied too loosely. Every pain one has, as well as every bad feeling one has are not all caused by caused by Fibromyalgia; if so we'll never have a cure. We shouldn't confuse Fibromyalgia with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, obsessive-compulsive disorders, neurosis and conditions that are rooted in things other than Fibromyalgia. You are right when you say "I know that "fibromyalgia" is just a label that doctors give to patients that they cannot or do not want to help". What you missed is that there is a real condition of Fibromyalgia except practically no one gets it right not even doctors. I've heard said there are 200 symptoms of Fibromyalgia and sure once you have a word that names something that you can't diagnose, that word can be used as an answer for a plethora of those ailments that there are no definitive tests… read more

People tell me Fibromyalgia is caused by trauma but I was told it's an autoimmune disease. How many people are getting flare ups out of the blue and how many are triggered by stressful events???
My symptoms seem to worsen when I’m in high stressful situations. Each time they get worse than the time before.
