Random Chills And Goosebump Patches
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else get chills only on one part of the body followed by a strange patch of goosebumps?

I usually get a chill on my right arm and I can actually see a random patch of goosebumps forming. It disappears after a few seconds. I sometimes get it on my leg also.

I’ve had this symptom for over a year now.

Anyon Get Goosebumps For No Reason, Or Have Limbs That Fall Asleep Easily?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I gotta laugh... my newest symptom is goosebumps on my left front leg (over the quad muscle). It is completely independent of temperature or emotional state. Anyone else get this weird symptom?

Also, arms/legs fall asleep very easily. Crossing my legs for 30 seconds results in complete numbness. I unusually wake with a numb arm or leg (even if I've not slept on it).

I’ve been getting exactly this too. My doctor tried to say it’s just my anxiety but I get it regardless of how I feel. I even wake up in the night with this surge feeling down my right arm and the… read more

Freezing
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone get freezing cold? I always use to be a warm person but the last few months I've become very very cold to the point I'm freezing. I don't mean getting goosebumps, I feel like ice internally and it travels around my body. I've spoke to my gp and have blood test booked. Just wondered if anyone else experienced this

I bought a bed warmer (name?) that you can adjust from warm to hot. I heat up my side before bed and it helps to crawl into a heated bed. Then I have a heated blanket I got at Walmart that you also… read more

Goosebumps?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I see a lot of posts asking about random patches of goosebumps, but what about in general? I've noticed that the past few months since I had my son that when I flare I get goosebumps easily? Stress, hot, cold, just because? I can always feel them coming but can't always pinpoint the reason.

All The Weird Symptoms Goosebumps, Tingling
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Right now my doctor is elevating me for Fibro.

I have pain on and off, it can feel dull, or like pulled muscle or sharp. It all started with muscle twitches which might have been due to anxiety. I was prescribed Buspar and the twitches slowed down dramatic. I still have them here and there

But I am left with all my other symptoms pain throughout, tingling in hands, feet, and right now lips. And my biggest issue is hypersensitivity to touch! I get goosebumps that hurt like little pins, and a… read more
