With wearing the covers my nipples are getting itchy. Does anyone have any advice. So sorry again as it is so personal.
I mean, there are pads and pasties. Personally, though, I free my DDs as often as possible.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I agree. It is no one's business what we wear under our clothes. People do not understand what it takes for us to just get out the door much less find clothes that aren't so… read more
I've been getting bad pain around the band of my bra especially center of my chest. Anyone else?
Comfort is not usually a word surrounding Fibromyalgia sufferers. But I have to tell you, I'm so happy that I have come up with this idea. Some of you may have already known this trick and maybe I'm the last one to know. But at a risk of sounding ridiculous, here it goes. I have suffered with the pain of fibromyalgia along with the rest of you. I must say, even wearing clothes gets painful at times. I especially dislike wearing shorts or jeans or skirts. Basically anything around my… read more
I was diagnosed with this after EMG nerve conduction test.
Has anyone been diagnosed with this or have heard of it?
My primary care dr has never heard of it?
Yes I have interstitial cystitis . I was diagnosed with it about 5 years before I was diagnosed with Fibro. It can be very painful. When it flares up I take a drug called Elmiron,
Any of you found an alternative to bras? I'm pretty busty so I have a really hard time getting away without one but my skin is so sensitive during these flare up that it's super painful to have anything together like the straps of a bra. As soon as I'm hope it's of, but I have to figure out an alternative for work... I've tried going braless a few times and it's kind of doable in the winter when I can wear baby sweaters but winter is still a long way off and it's just way too… read more
Hi. During flare ups I can't wear a bra most times. I went to target and bought camisoles (Merona brand, very inexpensive ) they also help as layering. Good luck.
Hi! Wondering if anyone experiences electrical shocks throughout their body? I get them so badly my body actually moves on it's own. If I get one in bed, my whole body raises off the bed. Once, while drinking a glass of water I got a shock and hit the glass into my teeth. No broken teeth...that time and I hate drinking out of plastic! :)
I went to a MAPS clinic, just once...and when I told the PA about the above, using the bed as an example, I was told it was probably static electricity in… read more
Ok ladies, this is one for you. Does anyone have tips about wearing bras or certain types of bras that make them less painful? I've got the most comfotable bra i could get with padded straps and everything but i still find they pull on my shoulders and trigger pain. It also squeezes my ribs and makes it feel like my chest is going to explode! I try to wear it as loose as i can but it can still be excrutiating. So does anyone have any magical wisdom on this subject?
Thanks
Some days all clothes are uncomfortable to me. My favorite thing to wear is a long dress with a built in bra.
