I have been diagnosed with Fibro and experience full-body morning pain and fatigue after I wake up.
What is strange is that:
When I just wake up, get up immediately and move my body, I AM FINE.
If I stayed in bed for a little longer I get the pain and fatigue and it is so hard to get up.
Is this normal?
I am in process of seeing a specialist for fibromyalgia. I've had 2 appointments and had tender point tests etc and blood tests, so far to show no other illnesses so doctor says fibromyalgia. I get stiffness, widespread pains, pins and needles, numbness, aches and pains and all the rest. Fatigue, sleep issues and anxiety. I’ve heard that coffee/caffeine and Cymbalta are not good to have together because it could cause something called serotonin syndrome, but, it would have to be a lot of caffeine per day ! I drink coffee but not much. I have a little coffee shot in the morning and one in the afternoon to help with the afternoon sleepiness. I don’t drink soda or anything like that. Hi sorry if this has been asked before but I'm new to this team. Has anyone been prescribed nortriptyline as an alternative to amitriptyline and has this helped in any way, but also has anyone found it slows weight loss/caused weight gain? Thanks xx

After the onset of Fibromyalgia, I have experienced major joint pain and "cracking" of the joints. Is there anything I can do to help stop it or at least slow it down? Does anyone know what caused it?
