For what ever reason, if you're lonely as heck, it'd be nice to hear from you.
As per Britney, "this loneliness, its killing me"
How are you today? x

It was one of those days that go on forever. The pain hangs on you like a heavy drape. When you have used all your nornal remedies and yet you suffer. None of your fall back distractions are offering much relief
I went to music for escape. I made a playlist of my life
The song my father used to sing to me as a child.
The music that was playing when i first kissed a boy..
The country western music when i took a line dancing class. The memories unfolded snd the pain drifted off like a lifting… read more
I'm finding myself to feel very lonely and alone recently. The antidepressants help with the general sadness but not that feeling of always feeling so lonely. I don't have many friends anymore since this all began and my partner doesn't understand it at all, he's around less and less these days too. How does everyone cope with the loneliness that comes from chronic illness?
I agree at times you feel very lonely and yes you sit there and cry from time to time but my children keep me busy and I have a very good best friend although she tries she doesn't understand what I… read more

Is there a concierge at your health insurance office you can call? I have one through Highmark and she is a nurse with alot of help for where I live.
Hit me up with your fav movies. I'm mostly couch/bed bound and could use something to watch. I like just about everything except right now I don't think I can do foreign films I have to read nor ones I have to pay super close attention. Fibro fog , pain etc makes it kinda hard to watch something that requires me on edge of my seat following hard plot lines
Love just about everything else. Including rom coms , horror and probably an endless list of 80s /90s movies cuz that's the decades I grew… read more
Love all those, except maybe Death Proof- rattled my nervous system too hard.
Was only diagnosed a few weeks ago and I'm really not coping very well! Am I just going through the motions and will start feel better about things or is this it?
Thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member, that's really helpful to know - we have a really good health food shop 10 minutes away so will pop in and see them😊 Xx
How do you deal with the loneliness ? I used to interact with 200+ people in my teaching day, now I barely get out of the house. My family is used to supermom, but I’ve crashed and burned and can barely do 1/4 of what I used to do. They haven’t made the adjustment yet either and are inpatient and frustrated with me.
I agree totally! I have a great friend who understands as she has fibro as well. My dog Ruby is my 💓.
I have found myself trying to find excuses to not go out and socialize, I used to love to go out with my friends and as I'm single it helped to with the lonliness, I feel that this illness is slowley taking away my ability to enjoy life.
All the time coz I haven't the energy to get dressed and do hair and makeup etc. 9 times out of 10 my arms are too weak to do anything, by the time I ve sorted the kids and the house I m beat… read more
I believe pain can cause depression.
I belive that pain limits what you can do. With those limits comes self worth issues and can also cause isolation.
What are your thoughts on the subject?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had fibro appear because of trauma from abuse. I recently went to a doctor that said that my fibro was a result of the trauma I experienced in my life and it has made me distrust everything around me even more than before. I was in an abusive relationship for a long time and finally managed to break off all contact over 2 weeks ago, today I made a mistake and contacted my abuser because of the loneliness of Valentine's day. I didn't want to do it because I'll… read more
