Infalammation? Inflammatory?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have a dumb question:
What do you mean when you say this food increases inflammation?
What inflammation do you mean? Nerve, joints?

I read this word every day in your chats and I don't get it.

I read some months ago that fibro has nothing to do with inflammation.

Does Anyone Have A Chronically High Platelet Count?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’ve been seeing a hematologist/oncologist since 2022. We have mostly been watching it 🤷‍♀️😳

At one point in time there was some talk about a possible JAK2 Mutation.

But then my doctor decided that it is my inflammation marker.

Anyone else experience this?

If all stays the same I’ll be released from this doctor in the summer. I’m feeling a little apprehensive since we don’t know it’s inflammation for sure.

If you see this, I appreciate you.💛

Gluten-free?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do y’all know anything about being gluten-free, to help fibro inflammation? And if so, any good foods?

A MyFibroTeam Member

So many gluten-free foods in supermarkets and available online. The safest way is to shop the outside of the supermarket as the fruit and vegetable aisles have so many anti inflammatory foods.
