Two major concerns, debilitating today, my veins hurt in my tops of hands, tops of feet, to touch on my legs. And the tendons in my foot/ feet. Dr on chat thinks synovitis? One side screaming louder then the other. And, of course, just in case it's not fun enough ,charlie horses in calf, tight in the other.

I’ve had a dozen surgeries and every single time, getting an IV is horrific. Aside from complications (the catheter can’t go in far enough, vein collapses, hematomas, no viable vein to poke, blood clots after removal) I have a high level of pain with the IV. I can feel the catheter in place, i get a “shock” feeling and severe burning when they push fluids or meds and it just plain hurts. I find when I have to get blood work done.. my veins are really deep and are hard to find.. Is it just me or is it everyone else.. I drink lots of water to stay hydrated like they say and I still have issues.. just had some blood work done and they had to take from my right hand .. almost at the knuckles.. hurt like hell...hope no one else has this issue but it would be nice to know i am not alone in this aspect..

I've noticed my veins in my hands, legs and feet are protruding above my skin surface. This may sound crazy... they hurt! If I should rub the top of my foot with my other (like I do a lot, RLS) ...I feel like I painfully rolled my veins. Anyone else experience this?

Does anyone wear compression tights? And ever have problems after Continuious wear?

I keep getting the feeling that I'm either swelling huge or shrinking tiny. I'm not, but the feeling is so real. If I was to touch my arm it would feel huge, but would be normal size, but my whole body would feel the same. This has only normal happened while at home, but today happened while out and kind of freaked me out.

Anyone else had this?

Does anyone else have days where their veins in their arms and across their chest are very visible and blue? It's almost my skin is transparent.

So there are times that I swear my veins are on fire; I have expressed this to Doctor's in the past and they look at me like I am nuts, or they tell me "you cannot feel your veins, it's just in your head"

Does anyone else experience this? If so what do you do to relieve it, if anything?

If a fibro person or anyone who has a chronic illness has a blood test, does it affect them differently to someone who hasn't got it?

I know different nurses are more qualified etc but...... I had blood tests yesterday and when the needle was coming out of my arm it stung very badly and the stinging sensation went down the same side of my body and into the back of my leg. It was very sore for about an hour then it suddenly went off and my arm was the only thing that hurt.
