Hi, Technically this is 2 questions but they are interlinked so I thought I'd ask them together x

I am already on P.I.P because of my Disc Degeneration, but now I've been diagnosed with FM as well, should I try to get my award updated or leave it till my review next year. (I don't want to end up losing what I already have)

Part 2 Has FM been classified yet in the UK as a long term disability? I know it has in America and Northern Ireland but not sure about here.

I know I have simplified our holiday traditions. I don't go out of the house much and I am very weak so I don't put up a lot of decorations. I don't rush around worrying about things to wear to holiday parties. It is just too cold here and I am always in too much pain. When I went to My Dr. to start the process of whether I have Fibromyalgia or not She ordered blood work right away but then she wants me to go for a sleep apnea evaluation why this test, Has anyone ever had this test for Fibromyalgia?

Just wondering how many of you have been diagnosed with either or both ..... and was it before or after your fibro diagnosis?

Also, any of you who haven't been tested .... are you curious to whether you have it and will you consider asking your doctor for a test?

I found a question and answer on Google that just doesn't make sense to me. First I read that it may be different in different people,, meaning (?} that it could be autoimmune. Then it says Fibro is not autoimmune, which I thought it is. So, here's Google's answer.

I pray that I don't offend any person at all with this question. I've been diagnosed 2 months ago in the horrible flare up that I have totally out of the blue. Btw I'm still in that flare up of excruciating pain and exhaustion. Okay here's the question and plz don't get mad. I recently consulted with a different rheumatologist who sent me to a neurologist and a pain specialist. The neurologist wants to do a sleep study. My problem though is the pain in my legs. I also have pain at times in my shoulders and neck, and I have arthritis in my right foot at the base of my big toe which is hurting a lot lately.
