I also had a cone CT done from shoulders up as part of my TMJ evaluation, it showed the natural curvature of my neck is now straight and beginning to curve the opposite direction!! When I looked up "straight neck" it came up as a new definitive diagnosis of fibromyalgia! I was astonished and thrilled.

People with invisible diseases are the lowest not only on the medical community but society as well! It makes me sick! LOL...literally, just because my arm is not gushing blood or I have but one leg, does not make me any less deserving of your kindness, compassion and understanding!

I would think so. I filed out the form and sent it to myDr. To fill out and fax in. Then the insurance company says whether they will pay for. It is 700.00 if not. , I would hope this helps.

@A MyFibroTeam Member With all the news and the new acceptance of FDA Approved Drugs along with Accepted by SSI as a Chronic Disability it's hard to Believe any professional doctor hasn't heard of Fibromyalgia yet it's the same with my doctors.
So it's more than just studies and clinical tests

My neurologist said he hadn't heard of it yet. He also said two studies are not usually enough for a complete change in diagnosis. I hope the blood test is real and becomes accepted.
