Several weeks ago I was put on Lamictal for my seizure activity. I broke out with a bunch of cold sores. My daughter was sick and I lost allot of sleep so I thought it was just from being run down.
Then I had white sores all over my tongue and throat. Felt feverish. No fever.
Broke out in a purple rash on my back. Stopped Lamictal immediately. I am nurse ( non active atm due to health) but it's a side effect of Lamictal. Called my neuro confirmed stopping.

I think the last post was very good advice.
In conversations on this site I've seen some great navigation tips. Could we add the things we've discovered here so everyone can learn from each other?
For example search for the Q&A titled "Questions& Answer Links Tip" (which is a did-you-know about clicking the Q&A tab on the menu vs. the Q&A tab under your profile.)
My ex: when you have a question to ask, it seems you'll get many more answers by posting it on the Q&A board than by just posting it on your profile page.
Ohhh, Janet, that is a great tip! LOL ππππ
I know so much to learn lol
Ok thatβs an idea. With members from all over the world it would help
Thank you for your input!
Does anyone know if you get free dental treatment whilst on ESA . I was on contribution based and had to hand sick notes in . I had an interview / meeting at the job centre and was then sent a letter saying I didn't need to send sick notes . It also say I am now in the support group so dose this mean I don't have to pay for my dental . I'm confused .!!. When I was on contribution based I didn't get any help with my dental ,eyes test and so on . Thanks in advance xxxx

I never chose a state when I was signing up. So I think it defaulted to or I accidentally hit a key that brought it to Ossippe NH. Yes, we're from Northeast, but because of my husbands work we have lived across the country (and even abroad)!. I can't go in to change state. But we're in southwest now :)
It is under settings. Click on the three lines to the right. They are the grey lines next to your profile pic . Far right top of screen . Under settings (this is at bottom of scree as you scroll down)β¦ read more

I did have Scarlett Fever as a young child. No idea if it's connected of course...but interesting! I'll be googling tonight for sure. :)
Who do you see for your Fibromyalgia? Who manages your care, PCP or Rheumatoid? My PCP sent me to Rheumatoid who diagnosed me-"you have fibro", sent me back to my PCP who said "you have fibro". ππ I knew this before hand. I am/was taking recommended medications so nothing really changed except notation in my chart.
It's like going to a hair salon and being told I have red hair π‘ BUT what if I want to be blonde?? π€π€ What can we do about it?
I have had fibro we think since I was 21 and had a bad fall that triggered it. I have had Dr's yell at me and tell me it was in my head more times than I can count. Dr's are getting better about it⦠read more
