Tips For Navigating This Site
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

In conversations on this site I've seen some great navigation tips. Could we add the things we've discovered here so everyone can learn from each other?

For example search for the Q&A titled "Questions& Answer Links Tip" (which is a did-you-know about clicking the Q&A tab on the menu vs. the Q&A tab under your profile.)

My ex: when you have a question to ask, it seems you'll get many more answers by posting it on the Q&A board than by just posting it on your profile page.

Here's another example... you can set your notifications to show people who add you. You then get emails that give their names, so you can click on it to go see their profile. OR go to "Meet Others" and scroll down to "Additional Filters" and add that name to the "Username" search bar to find them.
The settings can also be set to not notify you by email of all the hugs and likes, if you prefer to get fewer emails. Or maybe you have time to reply to hugs and likes and want to get them. :)

If you have a good doctor to recommend, be sure to add him/her to the "Provider Directory" tab on the top menu ribbon. It's a good place to search by city and state for good providers in our areas.

I recently learned this tip from @A MyFibroTeam Member and want to share it here...
When a post shows a name or two (with @ sign in front) and then 3 dots, click on the dots to see the rest of the names.

Here's another time-saver for me... about viewing notifications.

Click orange box at top right, then "My Notifications" and scroll to bottom to "View all Notifications" which is an aqua box. That produces a list of all the interactions that should be of interest to you. At first I was reading everything and it was too much. Then I noticed the icons on the photos. Those really help me skip to what I want to spend time on.
Smile = hugs

Thumb up= likes
? = is a reply to a question you asked
Check mark = is an answer to a question you also answered
Talk bubble = is a comment to you or is an addition to a conversation you were part of
Outline of person = is someone who added you

I focus most on the talk bubbles and question marks so I can continue the conversations.
I go back to the adds when I have time.
I also use this page to quickly find people and click their photo to go to their profile pages.

Both are good. I go everywhere. If there's nothing in the Q&A, then I post in my updates.
One thing I wish would automatically show is WHEN or a date someone said something.
I've read where the person replied O that was 11 days ago.
I thought it was new.
That would help if admin is reading this.
thank you
