I have been hearing people talk about a lack of oxygen to the brain being a cause of inflammation, etc. I've seen where some say hyperbaric oxygen can cure fibromyalgia. So as I looked for ways to increase oxygen to the brain (exercise is certainly one), I find where low blood pressure will decrease oxygen to the brain. Wow, I have low blood pressure. The other night it was 81/60, though it is usually 90/70. Do any of you have consistently low blood pressure? Cause maybe this is one path to… read more
I've thought about trying Hyperbaric Chamber but insurance won't cover it arghhhh
Thanks to those who have offerred up their advice. It helps to hear other people's suggestions. I have often looked up online sites on fibro and been overwhelmed by the amount of information that is… read more
I have been diagnosed with gastrparesis, I have read some about it. But would like to know what others do when having an attack?
The Paleo diet is one of the best. It's just really strict. 😊

I get those rashes too. No one can tell me why. It is so severe I can't stand wearing clothes. I have tried layering Lanocaine and Gold Bond creams with some success - enough that I can finally fall… read more
There are many ways to reach out to help, and of course the needs will change for each person. Big things like helping clean the house or cooking meals can help, but often it’s the little things that are the best, like opening the door for them, or remembering not to wear perfume. Here’s a list of a few things that can help (with thanks to many other websites I‘ve read similar lists on over the years):

Hi Michelle hugs
I'd say it's the fibromyalgia as I suffer with extreme hot sweats waking up freezing cold as I am that wet head to foot, my hair will be drenched wet through and this has been going on for few years before being diagnosed with anything and before taking any medication ,
I have only been taking duloxotine For several weeks and I was the same before these x
Cymbalta was horrible for me- hot sweatie- I forgot what else it has been so long. coming off of it was horrid
I had a couple of shots a week ago and the following morning when I woke up, I couldn’t move. My husband lifted my head to give me a pain pill then about 15 minutes later I was able to move limb by limb. Horrible!!!! It happened the following morning also. Needless to say I’m still in pain. Has anyone experienced this PARALYZING PAIN???
Pain is the pits! Can certainly commiserate. I've found some mitigation with good anti-inflammatories - like "Zyflamend"... and several 'topicals'. CBD 'stick' & 'oil', Arnica; Bule Emu; Lidocane… read more
I'm finding I'm getting looks of "I'm sure she is faking". I have times where my energy is just sucked out of me. I can be joining in the conversation one minute the next I just feel so ill. At work they give me 10mins break and I feel so much better when I get in. I don't think people realise that just 10-30 mins sensory break can bring me back
Yes.... That is one of the hardest symptoms! You feel fine and the it hits!!!
I have been suffering muscle weakness and cramping in my left side mainly for bearings 10mths now. Have also had pins and needles to my hands and feet continually for about six months. Some mornings it's taking an hour to get out of bed. My head is telling me but my body isn't having any of it. I was signed off work 10wks ago due to chronic fatigue which took six weeks to lift from the extreme. I am due to go back to work this week but my big concern is how long before I see the rheumatology… read more
