Do You Find You Can Be Fine Then Suddenly You Feel So Ill Like Someone Switched Off?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm finding I'm getting looks of "I'm sure she is faking". I have times where my energy is just sucked out of me. I can be joining in the conversation one minute the next I just feel so ill. At work they give me 10mins break and I feel so much better when I get in. I don't think people realise that just 10-30 mins sensory break can bring me back

Well you will always find someone to try and burst your bubble more than you already are feeling that bad. You learn to ignore them somewhat, but I have to admit when I am at home alone is usually when I tend to breakdown.

I purchased sound muffling headphones where I channel my favorite music into. Helps relax plus soothes the over stimulated body of a Fibromyalgia sufferer.

Can you try earplugs? I have severe Hyperacusis and they are a MUST for me in noisy public places and even when my normally quiet home gets too loud which does not take much.
