Also, how is the length of time to recover from surgery affected by fibromyalgia? It's been a VERY LONG ride for me and recovery has been quite difficult and painful!!!
In my experience i feel like recovery takes longer than expected my recover took 2 years for hand surgeries but also there are a lot of other factors.. even cuts and scrapes take longer
Does anyone have leg cramps after what my body determines is a busy day? My back aches, my stomach aches, and my leg aches like crazy!!! Always happens. And though I usually ache somewhere always, this leg ache goes away if I take NSAIDs and rest.
I also have it. But when it gets really bad my legs won't hold me up and I fall.
Does anyone use this?
Do you have it as patches or oral?

Yes, I use fentanyl patches 75 mg. Have used them for several years with no problems. They do keep the pain under control but not gone.

It helps with pain, sleep & appetite. But also a no-no in Kansas if you take pain meds.

Does anyone experience hair loss or thinning. I've been losing hair slowly since my diagnosis in 2001. I'm thinking about wearing a wig. Is there anyone out there experiencing the same and is using wigs? If you do wear a wig, do you find that it causes pain on the scalp? Thanks

Hi guys,
I was wondering what your experience is with covid and fibromyalgia. I have not had covid as yet but I am petrified of getting it and having long haul covid on top of fibromyalgia.
Hope everyone is doing well. It feels as if I have been in a constant flare for the whole year this year. I am over it now and getting to a point where I just want to get back to 'normal' what ever that might be.

I've been doing some light research regarding those who have lived near or on military bases and in or near industrial areas. The reason being is that out of all the people I grew up with in my neighbourhood, 4 of us have Fibromyalgia/CFS, several have passed of or currently have cancer and some have other issues with autoimmune illnesses and so on. We all grew up in or next door to an air force base. Just curious. Thank you.
I also was raised on military bases Air Force bases and I also joined the Air Force when I graduated high school
