Darker Pink Line Across Fingernails
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do any of you have, or have you ever heard of or seen, on the fingernail a darker pink line next to the white part? Mine suddenly look like this. The remainder to the cuticle is a healthy pink.

A MyFibroTeam Member

Intersting. I just examined my nails. I no longer have the the white curved area near my cuticle. My entire nail looks jaundice with a thin pink circle around the outside of my nail.

Can You Share Your Experience With Reducing The Dosage Of Cymbalta & Lyrica? Or Stopping Them Altogether? Thanks.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been taking Cymbalta AM (60mg) & Lyrica EVE(75mg) regularly for fibro for the past 2 years. My symptoms improved to a large degree once my body adjusted to the current dosage. I'm noticing the weight gain, partly b/c of less physical activity, and the effect on my vision. I have developed very dry eye condition and as a result blurry vision. I need to use eye drops a couple time a day. I also know that they might affect your liver long term. So, I'm wondering if there are other medications… read more

Upon Waking, Shocks And Vibrations Are All Over Your Body.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

With fibro at 30, I have always waken up with some pain, but since I’ve gotten older, now 62, the vibrations stay with me even after I wake. Imagine a vibrating sensation all over. It’s incessant, and has my nerves on end all day. I only get relief when I’m sleeping, and that is only with a sleep med. Anyone else have this? Any that helps? Dr put me on fluoxetine, but nothing. I took all caffeine out of my body, which wasn’t much, and the only thing I’ve found online is a condition that affects… read more

I know this question has been posted, but I wanted to see if there is any additional feedback on this. Please contribute.

I do the following. I use Rhodiola herbal supplement. I take this before or close to noon for energy. Not sure if its helping with mental or physical.

I also use Niacin No Flush. Emphasis on No Flush. Flush will make you look red like a lobster. I think this mainly helps with mental energy. As it helps fight Depression quite effectively.

I also realized that adding… read more

How Did Everyone Deal With Their Diagnosis When Finding Out?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed just over a month ago after nearly four years of chronic pain. My GP prescribed me naproxen to manage but didn't investigate. Because of that, I developed secondary malabsorption from ulcerations causing me to lose significant amounts of weight. Because of the tests to find the cause of the weight loss and a change in doctors surgeries who now actually listen to me, they were able to rule out any other causes of pain giving me the diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I've started with… read more

I have finally found a good Physiotherapist in Adelaide. Her name is Claire Osterstock. She is on Magill Rd. She accepts medicare for. She takes things very slowly and seems to have a good grasp of fibromyalgia.
