Candida/yeast Issues
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had candida/yeast problems? Did diflucan or anything else help? I am desperate to find the answers for my itching and rashes in the heat. I had bloodwork a d everything looks great. Nothing SED rates but I am sick and miserable. Thank you!😫

I have heard of the diatomaceous earth. Do you know the name of the brand you use? I am also sensitive to probiotics. I will also try the tea tree oil! I know my son uses it on his toenails. This candida is vicious!
Thanks so much and I hope you continue to improve.

Hi. I feel like I can answer this. I have had oral thrush. I have had Candida vaginal yeast infections and I swear when I was under the most stress in my life I had a systematic Candida yeast infection that spread to my gut. For the vaginal yeast infections if it isn’t that bad try diflucan. It’s so strong though your doctor will only probably give you one dose. It helps but not for good. If you go on Amazon there are boric acid suppositories that come in capsules they sell by several different brands. So they look like a regular capsule you would swallow but don’t take it by mouth! You take the capsule before bed and put a maxi light pad on your underwear incase there is leakage at night and stick the capsule up as far as u can with your middle finger. I also used tea tree suppositories as well from Amazon and Whole Foods. They come in a little box. And they aren’t capsules but you peel apart the wrapper and it’s like real suppository and you follow the same process as above. I’ve been so desperate that I actually broke open a capsule of my probiotic and poured it all over a tampon I soaked in olive oil and put the tampon up me overnight. You can soak a tampon in a lot of things like oils that kill Candida so think creative. Never use an essential oil though without diluting it in a carrier oil though like olive oil or joaboa oil or coconut oil alone itself kills yeast. Even take a bath and pour a few drops off tea tree oil in there with some coconut oil and sit in a squatting position. Now to your rashes and itchiness… I would definitely get itchy rash on my body in heat or no heat when I had an infection. Take a Benadryl. Yes it will make you drowsy but the itching will go away I promise you that. I always get an itchy rash when I start one of those SSRIs too I think from the serotonin and Benadryl stops it. I do take supplements to keep the yeast away I got on Amazon. There are so many good ones out there too. I use an enzyme supplement by Enzymedica Candidase that has protein and fibrin enzymes in it that break open what the fungus is made of. Also, I take a supplement by NOW company called Candida Support which is made up of herbal anti-funguls. Also a must is an over the counter multi-strain probiotic with billions of good bacteria and prebiotics -(D Mannose is a prebiotic)that help the probiotics survive because they help the good bacteria eat when in your gut so it helps them survive. Get it in a capsule format that can survive until it reaches your gut. There are plenty that don’t need refrigeration too. Also take it in the morning. Take your anti fungals at night and probiotics/probiotics at morning time.

antibiotics causes yeast infections because as the pharmacist explained to me it kills the bad germs but also kills the good bacteria so right away yeast starts to grow. For under breast when I put on deo I pit under each breast that way you are not sweating there and it works no place for yeast to grow. Evelyn

Yeast thrives on sugars. If on the skin try cleansing it with vinegar water

Yeeeeesss!!! OMG I have candida in my gut candida on my skin candida on my hair candida everywhere!!! It's insane I found honestly for my skin and my hair. Nothing works better than Teatree oil literally nothing I can't take probiotics. I have a bad reaction to it. I've tried all the different probiotics. It just doesn't work well with my body, so what I have found that works great is lactoferrin and food grade diatomaceous earth works wonders also !!!!! I try to stay natural when I can. I have taken Diflucan before it does work, but I've noticed that my candida comes back like a vengeance after that.
