I used to be very "pain tolerant" but my mom says now i am more pathetic in dealing with it. I feel like a liar as its not as bad as it could be. Im not always in pain but I do much and I get sore and weak in the legs. I want answers but feel too pathetic to really complain.
Omg! ANYONE and I mean ANYONE that calls you pathetic is ignorant and needs to be educated. There is literature as well as speaking with a medical professional to learn

So I have read a lot that they say you typically get it from a trauma or stress. So does that mean it is all in your head Fibro?
I have an autoimmune and RA but then the dr added to say the other symptoms is Fibro. So I am confused am I physically sick or mentally sick?
No its not in your head and the doctors will make you feel like it is that's why you have to find the right doctors who show empathy and who believes your pain.
Does anyone feel like they may have been misdiagnosed? I've been speaking with a friend a lot recently who has fibro and she feel she has and the more I speak to her the more I feel I may have been. Just given fibro diagnosis as there was nothing else they could think of. Another friend has mentioned MS which has never been mentioned by a doctor before but reading up on it I have a lot of the symptoms. Obviously I will be discussing this with a doctor ASAP as I would explain a lot. Be intrested… read more

I’ve been having odd pains in one breast. And it all started with leaning over without a bra to wash up. It was like a lightning storm there and now it aches. I went and had it looked at and they ultrasounded half my breast. There was a small cyst but they said it wasn’t causing the pain. I’m hoping that it’s just Fibro- like my nerves over firing from injury. I don’t know. Then I realized that a dent in the breast can also be a sign and I’ve had one for years. I’ve never thought much of it… read more

Has anyone been told that they should be tested for MS as well due to the fact that both MS and fibromayalgia mimic each other? Or has anyone already been tested and realized it was MS and NOT fibromayalgia. I'm just curious if this has happened to anyone. My wife is concerned that I might have MS instead so I was going to request to get tested. I've been experiencing symptoms that could quite be MS. J/W. Any advice will help... Thank you!
I'm adding to this thread because it's applicable to many on here and wanted to add that I just saw a YOUNG woman's video posted that really set my mind to wonder because there I times I walk like… read more

My husband and I are starting the IVF process and I want to know if I can pass fibromyalgia on to my kids? and if I do become pregnant will my fibromyalgia get worse?
I agree, find another rheumatologist! They’re the ones who know all about this disease. Are you sure he’s not an MD? ❣️
