Electrical Shocks
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi! Wondering if anyone experiences electrical shocks throughout their body? I get them so badly my body actually moves on it's own. If I get one in bed, my whole body raises off the bed. Once, while drinking a glass of water I got a shock and hit the glass into my teeth. No broken teeth...that time and I hate drinking out of plastic! :)

I went to a MAPS clinic, just once...and when I told the PA about the above, using the bed as an example, I was told it was probably static electricity in… read more

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

My shoulder is in a lot of pain and it's burning some horrible but since I haven't had too many problems with this part of the body. I'm not to certain why I'm having so much pain with burning now. Just Wondering If Anybody's Had A Cervical Fusion, Single Level Or Multilevel And Been Happy With It?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I haven't found the right pain specialist yet to get a radio frequency ablation to try to avert having a fusion (long story) but I have needed Fusion for many years now but I keep hearing that people have to keep going back and getting another Fusion a year or so later because once you get one Fusion , it weakens adjacent areas. Also, for those that don't get a fusion even though they need one, what helps you with this horrible pain which for many also extends into the shoulder and the arm and… read more

Agree w/neurosurgeon, and cervical fusion isn't too bad... It's lumbar fusions that tend to put so much strain above and below the area fused causing problems. 😘
