I have been hearing people talk about a lack of oxygen to the brain being a cause of inflammation, etc. I've seen where some say hyperbaric oxygen can cure fibromyalgia. So as I looked for ways to increase oxygen to the brain (exercise is certainly one), I find where low blood pressure will decrease oxygen to the brain. Wow, I have low blood pressure. The other night it was 81/60, though it is usually 90/70. Do any of you have consistently low blood pressure? Cause maybe this is one path to… read more

I am thankful for my husband because he helps so much with my Fibro. He make sure that I get my medication taken, that I get the rest that I need, eating well, he massages me, and generally believes and understands my life as it is now
My husband is the absolute best!!! He accepts wherever I'm at but doesn't let me wallow. He never complains about the housework or what I didn't get done. He tells me I'm beautiful and thanks me every… read more
I'd say it's the fibromyalgia as I suffer with extreme hot sweats waking up freezing cold as I am that wet head to foot, my hair will be drenched wet through and this has been going on for few years before being diagnosed with anything and before taking any medication ,

Cymbalta was horrible for me- hot sweatie- I forgot what else it has been so long. coming off of it was horrid
I have struggled with my memory on and off for the past 25 years and always blamed it on my anxiety. More recently, I thought I might have dementia because my memory has been getting worse. It wasn’t until I read an article on fibro fog that I even considered it could be something else causing my forgetfulness. I honestly believe that for me, the fog is more debilitating than the pain and other symptoms I have. I am curious what everyone else experiences are in terms of fibro fog and do you… read more
I am also dealing with this problem
Hello everyone
Anyway I have a question to ask. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia plus a lot more issues a year ago. I believe I have had it way longer. After years of going to my doctor regarding my pain she finally sent me to a specialist. After all the test and jumping threw all their hoops I am still in severe pain. It has gotten worse with my age. I have severe lower back pain, It is so severe I now have to walk with a cane. I am unable to clean or stand for longer than 10 minutes before… read more
Yep. I believe mine is due to holding myself.
It is so painful that I try to move in ways that causes the less pain. I think my muscles tighten, so eventually they pinch.
Hope you get some ease… read more
Does anybody know what kind of doctor I could go see if that would help with my pain management I swear I've tried everything and I can't find a doctor that will prescribe me tramadol .I have had addiction issues and chemical dependency in the past. But now they're saying it's a narcotic? It's ridiculous I feel like I have no quality-of-life. I'm 40 years old and have more problems than an 80-year-old. I don't feel person should have to suffer. Does anybody have any suggestions?
My doctor also wants to take me off of tramadol. It is the only thing that makes my body ankle to move. I don't understand.
