I'm on lyrica, only works a bit now. Got rid of migraines but that's about it, been referred to pain management team
I've been on it for the past month and a half, and I tend to suffer from dry mouth, tremors, dizziness and less from nausea. But I think once you get used to it, you'll see what affects you most.
I am on Morphine for pain as I can no longer take other medications because I have taken all other meds prescribed by the VA for so many years (40) that they have had negative effects on my kidneys and liver and other bodily functions. I was given gabapentin but while it helped with fibro pain it seemed to negate the help I was getting for other problems from the morphine. At times when one source of pain is more pronounced I will change which pain killer I use but mostly I find the morphine works better. I think it is smart to try options and make an informed decision based on how you personally react to medications. Good luck.
Every person is different with it, I'm on it now, and I'm glad its helped with the pain and I sleep every night, where I was waking up all the time. The only way you are going to know is try things yourself, that's with any medication.
I had the highest dosage 600mg
I spoke to an emergency doctor once about iit he said a lot of his patients say that they felt it didn’t work for them.
I was on it for 3 years gradually reduced it and then had a break for 6 months or so doctor suggested I go back on it again so I did I have been on it for 4 months doesn’t feel any different
So it depends on the individual I guess 💙
