@A MyFibroTeam Member for me, I gain 7lbs every 100mg that I increase. So I started at 100mg and then in a months went to 200mg, but knew that 7lbs would come that first week. I'm on 300mg now, but to me Lyrica makes me be able to be touched by my kids and calms my body down to be liveable. 21 lbs is worth it to me. But it also took a long time before I realized that it was working
When i had reached the maximum doses, i did nothing else but sleep and the pain kept coming back worse
I was on Lyrica for a very long long time. I was taking 150mg in the morning and 150mg at night. I gained atleast 20 pounds. It did help alot with the pain but I couldn't stand looking at myself in the mirror. I finally decided to get off of it and try Savella. It works just as well and no weight gain. Yay!!
@A MyFibroTeam Member I am glad you got some help. Sounds like you are working for a good doctor. Some medications just don't agree with people., as you can see with all the negatives listed above. Hope you find something good to take that works. Keep us posted.
I just stopped it today. Thank you everyone for the help! I hated the way it made me feel. Back to gabapentin I go!
