I've done some research about the side effects of lyrica.

Have you gain weight? OR
Did lyrica supress hunger?

Members shared mixed experiences with Lyrica and weight gain, with many reporting significant increases ranging from 8 to 50 pounds, often occurring gradually over months or years of use. Several members described the difficult tradeoff of managing weight gain versus finding meaningful pain relief, with many concluding that the medication's effectiveness in reducing fibromyalgia pain and restoring their ability to live actively made the weight gain worth managing through careful diet and lifestyle adjustments. A recurring theme was gratitude for the medication's ability to provide enough relief to participate in daily life again, balanced with frustration over having to choose between physical comfort and unwanted side effects.

Yes. I've been on Lyrica for years and it definitely makes you gain weight. I have to skip meals or eat something very light once a day or I would gain more. It is a bad side affect. However, I find the numbing of the nerve endings, at least what I call it, definitely worth the side affect. You can keep it under control; the pain is much harder to keep controlled as you well know.

I put on 8 lbs my first week on Lyrica, but stopped gaining this week. I am staying on a Whole Foods/Plant Based Diet and the pain is so much lower because of the Lyrica that I am able to get out and DO things... That is worth the 8 lbs. I am able to jump on my rebounder and LIVE again. I do still hurt when I overdo it...

Thank you for being very frank and honest about Lyrica and fibro in general. I appreciate someone who is honest and straightforward rather than those who skip around a topic being all politically correct for the fear of offending someone and sprinkling their fairy dust in the hope you feel better with their πŸ‚πŸ’©
So once again thank you.
I have already cut out several of the things you listed but have to cut out many more.
I have always said too that nothing is impossible.
The word really says "I'm possible".
