Members confirmed that chills are a common fibromyalgia symptom, with many describing sudden waves of cold that cause shaking even when others feel warm, often requiring extra blankets or fingerless gloves for relief. Several members shared that they experience both chills and sweating at different times due to temperature sensitivity, with damp or cold weather being particularly difficult triggers that worsen chronic pain. A recurring theme was the strange and frustrating nature of feeling freezing cold to the touch while others are comfortable, with members noting they never had this sensitivity before fibromyalgia.

I get both the chills and sweating at different times. We are very sensitive to temperatures.

Yes I do. As if someone opened a window and freezing cold air has come through. Causes me to shake.
