Members strongly resonated with the experience of sudden, excruciating pains in the chest and stomach that would alarm most people, with the overwhelming consensus pointing to costochondritis as a likely cause and encouraging a doctor visit for confirmation. Several members shared their own experiences with this painful inflammation, describing symptoms ranging from sharp jolts that feel like electricity to intense episodes lasting anywhere from five minutes to five hours, with some needing CT scans to rule out heart issues. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia pain, including tender spots around the ribs, sudden muscle spasms, nighttime leg cramps, and difficulty breathing during flare-ups.

I get out of the blue spasms for lack of a better word. It feels like a jolt of electricity just rips through a part of me. No rhyme or reason and never able to brace for it.
