Members confirmed that unexplained itching is a common symptom they experience with fibromyalgia, with many reporting that it worsens at night, particularly when they are tired or in the middle of a flare. Several members described scratching in their sleep, itching on the scalp, lower legs, back, and arms, with one member mentioning a sun-triggered rash that stays just under the skin. Practical solutions shared included taking gabapentin at bedtime to manage severe itching and applying topical magnesium oil for relief.
