There are no easy answers to something as personal and important as the choice to conceive. If your doctor prescribed the Lyrica, s/he didn't think it would affect your ability to conceive. You know better than anyone, that to conceive it's best to be as calm as possible. If your anxiety continues, you may want to explore with your fertility team where all your feelings are coming from. I've been on Lyrica for almost 9 years now! I can truly understand your anxiety about getting pregnant! I have to say STOP TRYING to get pregnant! You won't get pregnant if you are trying so hard for that outcome! I am 64 yrs old! I had Endometriosis since the age of 14 and diagnosed in 1973 finally with that! I was dx with Fibro in2007! So I can understand your fear. I've had 8 miscarriages and the timing was not the best ( another post). I have had 3 beautiful children and now have 4 grandchildren!
Until you relax and feel comfortable you will not conceive, by making love or IVF, I believe! Relax, know your options, your priorities, your self. The pain will subside when you become comfortable with the FIBRO and you will have a better chance at conceiving! I'm sorry I can't help you with the drug thing. I went through fertility treatment and my very last frozen embryo I went full term and now have an 8 year old. Basically, since it was the last embryo and frozen (the chances for pregnancy with frozen embryo reduces); the key for me I think was stress. I wanted this to work so badly that for the last IVF with frozen embryo, I had already given up. I think the last IVF, I had no more stress because I had given up. Try to relax as much as you can. I was on Fentanyl and another pain med for the breakthrough pain and it was all managed by my docs...of course, my daughter had to be weaned off the pain meds but I stayed with her every day to help her get well. I have a healthy happy 8 year old now that has no issues!! I wish you the best of luck. If you find that your eggs are not the best; know that donor egg is an option. That's how I finally had my miracle baby!! Not many know this and many tell me how much she looks.like me. She is genetically my husbands but not me. I'm totally fine with it as I still got to carry her!!! Love her completely! I will be praying for you!!! I know this can be an emotional rollercoaster. Keep calm and relax!!

So sorry to hear this hun. I hope your nxt try at ivf is successful. I do a lot of exercise in between my job and I eat well. I am back at fertility clinic in March to discuss any treatment if there is any. I just don't like the report's of being on lyrica meds at all and it does say do not take if pregnant or trying to conceive. I would gladly put up with this condition for 9 months if It meant I had a healthy baby at the end of it. Will keep you posted and I would live to hear your progress too. Hi, I just wanted to wish you luck in your ttc process. I have been trying off and on since 2013 to conceive and as such went off my medication in the process. I suffered a MC last month and it was the 1st time ever pregnant. I am getting ready to start my IVF cycle all over again however my pain levels via winter are always ridiculous. I keep tramadol for emergencies however I don't take it when I am cycling. What has helped me in the past is walking, being mindful of what I eat, acupuncture, essential oils, arnica gel, Dr. Teals pure epsom salt and lavender lotion, stretching, hot showers, etc.
