Members deeply resonated with the struggle of wanting to accomplish tasks but feeling unable to follow through due to overwhelming fatigue and a body that won't cooperate, with many describing the frustration of making lists or plans only to have exhaustion, poor sleep, and brain fog prevent completion. Several members shared practical coping strategies, including breaking tasks into smaller chunks, doing housework a little at a time, asking for help with physically demanding activities like gardening, and accepting that some days require rest and grace rather than pushing through. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of this invisible barrier between intention and action, met with understanding and solidarity from others who recognize that stamina varies widely, even among those with the same condition.

I am trying to get my housework in odor all the time. Its a never ending job. I can only do a little at a time. I have to small dogs and I am having to sweep every day or two. CRAZY!

yes, I agree with that statment. I go to bed with plans of painting, cleaning the house, writing, or anything other than just sitting around, but most of the time I wake up and i just don't have the want, the Drive to do anything. The tired takes over more than it does not. However I think of my mother of 56 and she has this as well and she always got up and did, so if my mother can so I can. that is my motto.

The same for me! I want to get things done! Actually make a list, start to do it, but then the fatigue kicks in, and I have to take a break, sometimes a nap, eventually it never gets completed. I don't sleep well, night sweats, or insomnia, keep me from getting a good night's sleep. So I'm never fully tested.
