It is all about balance. We need social interaction for our mental well being, but too much socialization taxes a person and the fibromyalgia flares. So small doses frequently works best for me.

I limit my times. And do mostly messenger chat. That way I can rest in between chats.

I get overstimulated when I get around people and I hate me then.i talk too much, I'm obviously right every time and will argue about it until you give up. Everything in my body tightens up, my mouth gets !very! dry, my heart races and it's hard to breathe. Sounds more like a panic attack? After anything that overstimulates me I have what feels much like a hangover. I've spent years wondering if I'm more physically or mentally ill, before learning it's bth all mushed together!

Being around other people is stimulating to me as long as it’s not for hours and hours. It’s the thing that keeps me going.
