Members bonded over the frustrating reality of neck and back spasms in fibromyalgia, with many describing how these areas signal an incoming bad day and worsen dramatically with weather changes like rain, humidity, and cold. Several members shared that muscle relaxers like Flexeril have been essential for managing widespread spasms, while others found relief through acupuncture, heating pads, physical therapy, and even natural remedies from holistic practitioners. A recurring theme was the validation of less-discussed symptoms like severe itching, numbness in the arms, fibro fog and forgetfulness, with members reassuring each other that these experiences are real, not imagined, and encouraging gentle self-care and medical follow-up when symptoms feel overwhelming.

I have widespread muscle spasms...I take flexeril every night (and some days) to help control them. Don't think that you are alone. Gentle hugs,

Cut down on opiate use if you're on them. The itch should subside. See a message therapist or accupuncturist for help with spasms. Breathe deeply, good luck.

The itching is the worse for me on my neck. Can't even wear my hospital Id it hurts so much. Acupuncture is the only thing that has helped me. Hugs
