I stay out of the sun as much as possible, with me and fibro and other illnesses the heat really drains my body out to the point i cant move for the rest of the day. A while back when i was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia my doctor told me not to take real hot showers or baths, which i love to do, he told the heat really sets the muscles and nerves off to the point you start hurting real bad, and its true, so i have to lukewarm showers, but i really miss my hot hot showers.
Yes I deal with the headaches and skin rashes when I'm in the sun. I try avoiding long periods of being outside in the summer. I suffer from severe allergies as well. It is very draining to be out in the sun too. I have a vitamin D deficiency so I do try to get out to absorb the sun for that reason. My rheumatologist suggested that I use sunscreen until September.
I've always been sensitive to sunlight (chalked it up to being pale though). Now I wonder if I feel sick from sun because of fibro. Interesting! Doctors can be so unhelpful...
Yes I do..sunscreen wad recommended SPF50
I also have vitamin D deficiency, so I take vitamin D supplements, so I think it does have something to do wit Fibromyalgia
