Members connected over the shared experience of unpredictable nausea with fibromyalgia, with many describing no clear pattern to when it strikes, though some identified personal triggers like certain smells, severe hunger, motion sickness, or hypoglycemia. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage symptoms, including keeping a food log to identify triggers, going gluten-free, wearing pressure point bracelets for travel, eating something sweet followed by protein when blood sugar drops, and using deep breathing or calming exercises. A recurring theme was recognizing nausea as a warning sign of an impending flare, prompting members to rest early, take medication proactively, and give themselves grace during these unpredictable episodes.

Yes I usually get extremely nauseated right before a bad flareup.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I agree with the having no pattern. Never really figure out what causes it if anything or everything. Who knows.

Yes I do. Especially if I've overdone it. Sometimes before a migraine.

I agree, I become really nauseated and, a little light headed right before I go into a bad flare. It's one of the warning signs for me to slow down. I then try to rest, I use calming exercises, I take my meds for pain and for inflammation early..and there are times that it helps me to calm down a really bad flare..
