last two days the pains in my shins are really bad , to the extent it limits my walking , they also tend to feel very hot , but not to touch ,this morning I could not get warm my shins were really cold , has anyone else had this

Yes, got it and I do not think there is any way to truly explain the level of pain & how crippling it is. I trained for the LA marathon (a while back). I went to visit my friend in San Francisco and went for my runs each day (for those of you who have not been in that area, it's all hills in the city, big ones). After 3 days, I had the shin splints from hell. All I can say is: I would rather have the running shin splints...what happens to me now is 4 fold. Keep warm & take it easy (that's all I can do when it happens). So sorry to hear you are going thru that. Hope that ends for you soon. With kind regards, Debe
One day I was hurting of course but tolerable and then all of a sudden my stomach started hurting well let me tell you what it turned into something I'm guessing........

I just started getting them this week. So far it has only been the right. I don't have the heat but I do have difficulty walking.
Hi Andy very sorry to hear hon . I haven't experienced anything like that . However I am aware in colder weather any athritic conditions bone muscular issues can flare up . See how y get in Prob b best to consult your GP ?

Good idea try discuss medication review with the GP some meds can leave you feeling like that indeed . When coming off then you gotta do so gradually as this can usually cause anxiety etc with some meds X
