I'm almost afraid to ask this but here goes.... Sometimes (not recently) I hear a radio station except it's not with my ears, it's in my head.... There is a lot of static, can't understand what is being said, like the station isn't tuned in all the way. The voice is fast talking like a radio talk show or dj. I googled it. Others have experienced it, not necessarily fibro people....

U have explained the radio experience perfectly. Better than what I could have ! Starting yesterday I started getting pains under jaw line in the neck on the left today it's on the right. It hurts then lets up and back again . It feels like inflammation nerves I'm not sure...could it be TMG jaw joint ? Gee it's something all the time isn't it !!!??? God bless with big soft hugs !!!!!
My brother had that now and then. He said it was like a radio was on in another room. It was controlled with Rx.
I hear what I would call static or high pitch whining a lot. More often in my right ear but sometimes both ears. My advice would be to google commonly recognized sounds associated with tinnitus and go from there. That is how I figured out how to best describe what I hear. Sometimes it's ringing, other times it may be chirping, lol.
Yes it occurs at night when it's real quiet in the house I hear look a radio unable to make it out. I've had this quite awhile not all the time
Thank you
