Is it just one sided? Yes, I get this. One sided pain. Is it just in spots that it hurts? Look up types of headaches. There are actually a lot of different kinds. I get several different types. I had to look it up so I could show it to my doctor. It does make a difference on how it's treated. Hope I was some kind of help there. Hugs :)
Yes. I get migraines and cluster headaches along with all these other different name and types of headaches along with these others time these pains where it feels like someone's literally stabbing me it the head with an ice pick. And no its not the same it's something different my doctors areally now exploring the fact that have extremely bad allergies and I keep a sinus and ear infection that maybe the cause. Along with stress as well. I believe with headaches there is no cure and doctors are licenced to practice medicine on use until they find something that works.
Yes I have unilateral headaches on left side. Also hearing loss and tinnitus on the same side. They just say it's another symptom of fybro. I've got hearing aids adapted for tinnitus and have had MRI for acoustic neuroma but not a clue from med professionals re headaches
Yes I get them almost daily in one form or another, sometimes develops into migraine. The worst part is the left side nostril, it feels permently stuffed up, the best way to describe it is when I blow it feels like I'm pushing open a flap, valve like in the heart!!! I've had 2 positive MRSA tests recently and when I've had the nasal medication, it's been loads better. Had this for yrs, put it down to the environment I worked in. A couple of times I've mentioned it to my GP, but he's not seen anything. After I've had my 2nd hip done?? If a bed is available, 3 times now I've been sent home, 1st was because of an ulcer. But I know this nostril isn't right, definitely harder to breathe that side, which is my worst side. In the past all my headaches were stress related and I think still are.
Cluster headaches and stabbing ice pick pain. That sounds like my headaches. Probably 3 other kinds also. But the cluster one is the kind I get most often. Funny you mention sinus and ear infections with allergies. I had the same. My doctor had me get sinus surgery, and a nerve ablation on C1, C2 and the headaches like these have gone away. I first had a nerve block on these nerves and that worked great! I was also getting ocular headaches and idk if it had something to do with the sinus stuff, but I still take Allegra most all year round. I keep hearing many people say they have the headaches and or migraines with the sinus and ear problems. I'm betting it's connected in some way and idk if it's due to fibro either. But thinking it must be! Hugs and thanks for sharing. This is very interesting to know other people are having similar stuff going on. So maybe as I remember someone say, possibly fibromyalgia is an allergic reaction to something. Wouldn't that be great if it was that easy to fix?
