I've been on Lyrica for several years now. It's the reason I can stand and walk without assistance. So when I started putting on weight, I wasn't happy, but I was able to stand up and walk and figured it was a trade off. I went from 140 to 198. After awhile, I lost some of it and have settled at 170. People never believe me when I tell them that's my weight. I'm 5'6" and seem to carry it fairly well. Plus I dress it carefully. Without Lyrica, I use a cane and sometimes a wheelchair from residual injuries from a car accident 30 years ago and now the fibro. I figure the trade off is worth it. It's the only side effect I've had from it.

I was on Lyrica for a month, I put on 60 pounds in one week. That was enough for me. I told the doctor I would not take any more.

I am exactly the same way. If I accidentally miss a dose, I sure do ache. My picture is from 2 years ago, and I can not wear that dress or a lot of other clothes. :-(

What drs don't tell people about lyrica is it rewrote how your brain senses you're full hence the wait gain I was on it for only a few months slept all the time was constantly hunger gained almost 80lbs will never ever go on it again
