Members exchanged ideas about diets that help manage fibromyalgia symptoms, with many finding relief by eliminating inflammatory foods like gluten, sugar, wheat, dairy, and processed foods. Several members shared practical approaches, including following the blood type diet, trying a paleo or anti-inflammatory eating plan, getting food sensitivity blood tests to identify personal triggers, and making simple swaps like water instead of soda, which helped some lose weight and reduce bloating. A recurring theme was that individual responses vary widely, but cutting out specific inflammatory foods often led to reduced pain, swelling, and fatigue, with members encouraging each other to experiment and find what works best for their own bodies.

I just lost about 15 pounds by quitting soda (even diet), no fast food, no processed foods, eating 5 times a day and drinking a lot of water. Oatmeal, banana, chicken breast, broccoli, green beans. Hardly any dairy. I still have more weight to lose, hope this helps!

I was just reading up on how gluten can trigger the pain receptors http://www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,2034246...
My friend referred me to Danielle Walker Against All Grain http://againstallgrain.com/about-me/ Her website is very informative as she suffered from an autoimmune disorder years ago and found the paleo diet helped her. She also has a FB page Against All Grain. Lots of good info...

I am very interested in trying to figure out a diet that is high in anti inflammatory food and eliminating inflammatory foods. I have found this to be a task of futility as every book I pick up is extremely convoluted. I found the following list that seemed to simplify the task, I hope it helps! http://www.augerchiro.com/files/Inflammatory_Fo...

I do better off of the sugars and wheat. Those are inflammatory to me, and make me even worse.

I do the blood type diet. I've been doing it for about 2 years and notice I don't feel as swollen or inflamed so it helps with pain a little and the fatigue. I will forever be on this diet. There is a book that explains it all called eating 4,your blodtype. It's pretty interesting
