Yes definitely, your emotional state and your physical pain state are both using the central nervous system to function meaning there generally isn't enough room for both to operate properly. Briefly put, flares effect everything causing physical pain as well as cognitive and emotional deficiencies. I speak from experience and I know what you are going through. It's extremely difficult. On days the fibro is giving me the blues I am 100% byatch. Having depression already does not help me deal with it. Smart people stay away. I am blessed to live with family who have learned it is best to let me be. I do try and stay away from a pity party.
