Members shared mixed experiences with Lyrica for fibromyalgia, with many describing significant relief from nerve pain, fatigue, and brain fog that allowed them to maintain full-time jobs and feel like themselves again, while others found it ineffective or experienced troubling side effects like memory problems. The most common complaint across nearly all responses was weight gain, which several members attributed to both the medication and reduced mobility from fibromyalgia itself. A recurring theme was the deeply personal nature of medication response, with some members unable to function without Lyrica while others discontinued it due to disappointing results or intolerable side effects.

I will not go without it. It gave me back my quality of life, my sanity, and a loving caring mother and wife to my family !

I have been on Lyrica for 9 years 400mg a day. No side effects apart from weight gain. It really helped the fatigue and I work in a full time job. I have arthritis, joint hypermobility syndrome and disc disease which cause a diffetent type of pain - lyrica doesn't help this type of pain but helps the nerve pain with fibromyalgia.

Hi Dawn. Yes. I have been on Lyrica for five years. It took a little bit of time to get my right dosage. It helps me tremendously. I have gained weight, part to the Meds. And part to just not able to move much some days. Of course I could eat a lot better. One thing at a time!

Hi, I like lyrica, it's the only tablet that I think works. Have you been put on it? X

I love my Lyrica. I have tried to go without it and the result is debilitating fatigue. I can't say it takes away all my pain however with it I am able to keep working 8 hr days as a nurse.
