Every once in a while my entire body just shakes mildly. I've been tested for A lot of stuff that could cause the tremors. I am just wondering if I am the only one.

Members responded with great recognition to the question about tremors with fibromyalgia, with many sharing that they experience shaking in their hands, legs, arms, and even internally, often triggered by pain, cold, or waking from sleep. Several members mentioned diagnoses like Essential Tremors and Functional Movement Disorder, and some shared that neurologists had incorrectly suspected Parkinson's before ultimately linking symptoms to fibromyalgia. A recurring theme was feeling validated by the community after being dismissed by doctors, with practical tips like checking magnesium levels and medication side effects also being shared.

I have had the internal shakes which I also experience as a weakness and need to sit down. I have had a tremor in my hand when reaching out usually when my arm is bad this was checked no indication of nerve trapping. ?

I finally got a diagnosis to my seizure like episodes, it's called Functional Movement Disorder. You can find information about it at www.neurosymptoms.org

My hands shake when the pain is bad. Like I'm scared or drank to much coffee :) I've actually had strangers ask me why I am trembling. I have to explain that it is the fibro.

I was diagnosed with Essential Tremors. It tremors in the hands, (even head and neck) . And.....it comes from there being something wrong with the Central Nervous System.

Wow, lots of advise! I was at friends last week. I was trying to order a gift on my phone and evidently my thumb was trembling enough for my friend to grab it. I was not aware of the shaking and was wondering why he grabbed my thumb! He asked why it does that and I really do not know! Funny he picked right up on it.
