Members shared their experiences with getting out of breath after exercise, with many noting it happens to them too, especially when doing too much at once. Several members offered helpful context, including the role of certain medications, anemia, and conditions like myalgic encephalomyelitis or CFS, which can affect how the body processes oxygen. A recurring theme was the importance of pacing yourself, doing things in smaller amounts, and checking with a doctor if symptoms persist.

Absolutely. Itโ€™s normal, especially if you havenโ€™t been exercising regularly.

But there are things to watch for like accompanying symptoms.

You can read all about it, just type your question into your search engine of choice. That way you know what to watch for if you have concerns.

If you have the co-morbid condition of myalgic encephalomyelitis (or C.F.S.) common with fibromyalgia, then shortness of breath is actually not unusual. It is believed to be caused on the cellular level due to our underactive and/or deficit of normal mitochondria.
It may not actually be related to respiratory or cardiac causes. You might also want to explore the possibility of another difficulty anemia which can cause this.
Always good to get it checked out in case there is something urgent to correct.

YEP, we process oxygen differently than typical 'Earthlings' said Dr. P. Cheney who deemed us 'Martians'! LOL

Sometimes, but we should practice deep breathing.
God bless!
