Members connected deeply over the overwhelming fatigue and flu-like symptoms that define living with fibromyalgia, with many describing years of feeling bedridden, constantly sick, and utterly exhausted despite appearing fine to others. Several members shared practical coping strategies, including pacing activities to just one or two tasks per day, using lidocaine patches for pain relief, hiring help with housework to conserve energy, and forcing themselves to walk even short distances to maintain some strength. A recurring theme was the frustration of invisible illness, the loneliness of enduring unrelenting symptoms, and the fierce solidarity of a community that truly understands what it means to fight through every single day.

Sick like the flu is exactly how it started for me. Years ago. I spent 2 years in bed, homeschooling from my bed, barely hanging on. I feel your pain. 💚🩷

Yes, every day all day. I cleaned my house and today can barely move. I’m thinking of getting a cleaning lady for every other week. Just to help lessen the load.
Take care and keep up the fight.
