Don't know whether it's just me. Sometimes my skin gets a tingling sensation and feel uncomfortable in jumpers, trousers and tops I have worn before and have to take it off and other times I can wear . Does anyone else have the same issue?

Members resonated with the experience of clothing causing tingling, discomfort, and irritation due to fibromyalgia, identifying it as a symptom called allodynia where even soft fabrics can feel unbearable. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them find relief, including switching to elastic waistbands instead of buttons and zippers, wearing loose-fitting pajamas or soft cotton leggings at home, sizing up in jeans to avoid pressure on sensitive areas, and choosing flowy items like culottes or oversized t-shirts that barely touch the skin. A recurring theme was the daily challenge of managing these sensations, especially during flares, and the relief of knowing others in the community understand and share similar struggles.

It looks like this is a common problem. There are days I can't wait to go home and get out of my clothes because they really bother my. I will put on pajama bottoms and my husbands large t-shirts no under garments, so generally everything is real loose barely touching my skin.

I find I can't wear jeans with buttons. Need an elastic waist for comfort.

I love jeans but can't wear them now unless I get a size bigger so they don't touch my tummy!

I have been getting this for awhile now. It started with wool for me and it's progressed onto practicality everything even soft stuff. I'm finding it really hard to deal with. Along with the itching, it really grinds you down. I had no idea what it was for a long time.

Hi! I hate the double barrel sling shot! It totally messes me up and I feel so uncomfortable. And I agree with Jane, I stay in my pajama's anytime that I am home. I only wear the sling shot if I go to the Dr!
