Members overwhelmingly confirmed that extreme cold weather can trigger fibromyalgia flares, with many explaining that temperature disregulation is a core feature of the condition that makes the body unable to adapt to environmental changes. Several members shared that any significant weather shift, whether cold, heat, humidity, or strong winds, can worsen symptoms, though cold weather was most consistently identified as the worst trigger. A recurring theme was solidarity and empathy, with members offering gentle hugs, warm thoughts, and reassurance that this challenging and often unpredictable aspect of fibromyalgia is widely understood within the community.

I agree with what several people said, any kind of a temperature change, and I experience of flair. Or perhaps we’re flaring all the time and once in a while, we don’t flare 🤣??
As @A MyFibroTeam Member said above, emperature disregulation, we don’t have control over it

Yes, I was diagnosed in 1982 and moved from north America to the south to try to get out of the 🥶. To those in the cold here are some warm thoughts with warm hugs, to warm you up; and a cup of "Joe"
