Members reflected on whether they ever experience pain-free days living with fibromyalgia, with most sharing that they have not experienced a day without pain in years, if ever. One member credited walking or hiking five to six miles daily as a possible contributor to less frequent pain, while another found relief using a Quell device that blocks pain signals from reaching the brain. A recurring theme was learning to navigate pain through mental strategies, pacing, and rest, with members emphasizing that managing fibromyalgia is a deeply personal process of trial and error, self-compassion, and accepting when you need to slow down.

I don’t suffer with pain daily. I believe my walking/ hiking 5-6 miles a day helps me.
