I think all of us have really bad days but what about the ones you have that you can barly dress, or bend over or walk to the kitchen for a glass of water those days are the ones im refering too, when you ask God to move you because you cant do it alone
For me a bad bad day is usually in my lower back hips and knees. So stiff, achy, shooting pain or sever weakness! Occasionally it hurts to be touched or wear a bra but something new has started, my skin is so sensative that just the smallest… read more

Members opened up about their most debilitating fibromyalgia days, with lower back, hip, knee, and leg pain being the most commonly shared struggles, often accompanied by severe weakness, skin sensitivity, and difficulty performing basic tasks like walking or getting dressed. Several members described coping strategies including heat therapy through hot baths, heating pads, and wheat bags, with many noting that staying gently active helps more than complete rest, though finding the right balance is crucial to avoid worsening symptoms. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of fibromyalgia, from brain fog causing workplace embarrassment to the fear of unrelenting pain during flare-ups, yet members encouraged each other to appreciate good days as blessings and to keep pushing forward with compassion for themselves.

Yes, it is difficult when we have other issues as to know which is causing the symptoms. Re exercise, we have to do what's best for us as individuals but I think it's for me, don't do too much of anything ie I don't do too much exercise or too much sitting or I pay the price. All the best to you

On bad days I am stiff as a board, when walking my hips, knees, back & feet really hurt. One problem I struggle with is rib pain & fingers. My job is practical so sometimes I struggle. I have arthritis in my back & neck so I never know which is the cause but as it can disappear for a day or so I'm assuming its the fibromyalgia. I am just recovering from a throat infection & it has set my widespread pain off, it's been awful.I couldn't get away from the pain, no sleep at all for night after night. The antibiotics for my throat has started to work & the pain lessening. I actually felt afraid because I was scared it would not go & I can't live with that level of pain. I am a bit of a tough nut with pain & force myself to get out of bed, go to work & then a walk in the evening folllowed by hot bath. I force myself because it doesn't help if I do nothing, the pain is the same so I may as well get on with it. I did give in this week though, I'm sure being unwell set it off. My enemy is stress & my son has been ill & I think it's telling on me now, like a delayed after effect?

My bad days sound like yours! Intense lower back pain, hip-knee pain, weakness in legs where I need support to walk to bathroom. Nausea and fatigue so bad I can't get out of bed.
The way I cope...take as many of the pills I can...but most of them don't work so am taking them less often. Heat helps the most! Sitting in the bath or shower or using heated wheat bags.
