Not Like The Flu And Can Affect Healthy Young
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

There have been postings recently on here that suggest the Coronaviruse is like the flu and that worry is an overreaction … it is not like the flu and this pandemic might become endemic.

Also, it is not only people that are immune compromised that are at risk ... medical reports are finding that, outside of China, young and healthy people with no immuno suppressive issues are also affected and some of those fatally.

My daughter is a doctor and she is taking this very serious. You are correct that the virus is not just effecting the old and sick. Recently a 56 year old healthy doctor just died from the coronavirus in the US.
We have limited our outings, wash our hands constantly, and practice social distancing. This will also prevent us from accidently spreading it.
Unfortunately our government initally down played the issue calling it a hoax, telling people to go to work. To the horror of the CDC and WHO, none of the established protocols were followed. This will cause thousands, possible tens of thousands people to get the coronavirus unneccessarly in the US. The government wasted precious time posturing and being ignorant when factual information was available. A high price to pay for Buffoonery.

Testifying on Capitol Hill 2 days ago, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warned Americans that the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. is going to get worse & is 10x more deadlier than the flu. Plus, consider this: we have flu vaccines & flu treatment meds. We have NOTHING for COVID-19. The flu of 1918 killed over 22 million people worldwide & there was no air travel of any kind & few autos. Ships were international travel sources and it took a long time to reach a destination. Sanitary measures are the best prevention, distancing yourself 6 ft from ppl, avoiding crowded locations & events, & dont travel if it's not absolutely necessary. Some people understand this, some dismiss it. The fact is, this wont be our last pandemic. This is a lesson to teach this country, this world, how to handle what's coming. We better wake up and learn from it. Dont wait until the last minute to be prepared. Do it over time. Stock up so you need very little if a catastrophe strikes. I started preparing in 2015. I'm ready. Be safe, be well.

He’s a buffoon who has brought us ALL to the brink of war. And yes, he has had a negative effect on the spread of COVID-19

@A MyFibroTeam Member, it is scary how they down played it. They were informed about this virus in January. Trumps string of sentences is like an onion of stupidity, and peeling back each layer revealed even more stupidity lying beneath. He said that this virus will be good for the United States economy 😳

Well said, Cameragal! I'm appalled at the lack of leadership, and the lack of common courtesy and decency in the general population.😑πŸ€ͺ
