I work from home and not going out does not bother me. If i want some fresh air, I sit on my front porch with my dogs. My husband keeps telling me I need to get out, go somewhere, even if its only to wawa for some coffee. But I am content. I was on the go 18-20hrs per day for the last 50yrs between work, kids, married life. I enjoy my home and my at home activities. Besides, the crime rate in my area since we bought this house has tripled in the last 5 years. too many shootings so when i do go out I carry concealed . Even though I do, I am not comfortable with the fact. There is a gun in the bedroom and one in my office. One of these days we will sell the house and move to our camper and away from here.
Because I work full time my days off mean catching up with stuff round the house, food shopping, running errands and all the usual stuff so when a day off comes along I make sure I get some time for myself and stay home. I do think if I stayed home more I would probably go insane. But a day here and there is just delightful! X
Yep! Really hard during winter. I don't want to go anywhere. Social anxiety can take a toll. I push through it but I find myself checking the clock to see if I can leave without offending someone. How awful is that?
I'm doing that everyday. I do really well until I don't. The welbutrin has really helped with my depression.
I've been there for about 4 years now. It is a major thing for me to get ready to leave the house. I need to start conditioning my mind and body at least the day before and then by the time I'm ready I am so exhausted that I would rather just forget the whole thing and stay at home and rest.
