Hi. I have had severe pains on both rib cage . Shortness of breathe. Couldn't find the reason. Then I went 2 a Rheumatologist and she diagnosed me with Lupus. I am on treatment for about 3 months and thankfully no more pain or shortness of breath. That was my diagnosis. Hope this helps

Yes I have Costochondritis it never goes away both back and front ribcage and sternum, only wear a bra when I need to mostly don't wear them when I am just at home. I also get breast pain as well and that never goes away either makes having mammograms and ultrasounds very painful.

Yes, I have that horribly. Mine never goes away. Mostly my rib cage hurts especially when I have a bra on.

I was diagnosed with costochondritis by my rheumatologist right before my connective tissue disease was diagnosed. The pain comes and goes for me. It is so sore to touch on my right side but both sides are painful. Mine hurts when I breathe in and when I get out of breath. Luckily I don’t have a ton of trouble from it. Hoping yours doesn’t last long.
