Does Anyone Get (headaches On A Pretty Regular Basis) Mostly When I Get To Bed.
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

The headaches are mostly on the right side of my head. My forehead and just above, my eye and sometimes my ear gets involved. Alcohol makes it almost a given that I will get one if I drink before bed. Sometimes my eye sees flashing lights in tune to my heartbeat. I talked to my daughter about them because she gets migraines, and she said she has all those symptoms when she gets a migraine. I just wondered if Fibro plays a part in this, as it pretty much plays a part in everything that is… read more

Yes I've been diagnosed with chronic migraines and cluster headaches. It's kind of hard to remember when they began. It sounds like you have begun the work of learning your triggers. Mine are lack of sleep, msg, strong smells and of course stress.

Yes it hurts so bad that I can't put the back of my head on my pillow sometimes. 💜

Unfortunately migraines and headaches come with fibromyalgia. I have both and sometimes feel like I could pull my head off. Stress or upset doesn’t help so maybe try a massage if you’re feeling stressed or tense.

I get terrible headaches that sometimes lasts for days, I take Excedrin and coffee but it takes the pain away temporarily and then it's back. I've had testing but it's due to the Fibro, which makes sense as the newest study shows we have abnormal PET scans with brain inflammation.

Yes always get checked out as doctors do have a tendency to put everything down to fibromyalgia. Don’t let them just brush you off. I have terrible pain in my jaw, neck and sides of my face, when having a flare up and then it moves to my eye sockets and face. Stays there for 2-3 days then radiates to the other side. I have maxilla facial pain, which I was diagnosed with but can’t remember the medical terminology for it.
