Hello, can any of you recommend Fibro friendly products like washing powder, shampoo, face wash etc. I seem to get aggravated by most things now and end up in more pain and sore. What things do you use?

Thank you so much.

Members shared their favorite fibromyalgia-friendly products in response to someone seeking gentler alternatives for washing powder, shampoo, and skincare that don't aggravate pain or sensitivity. Several members recommended unscented, organic, or baby products like Dreft laundry detergent, Child's Farm baby products, Aveeno, Cetaphil, Seventh Generation, and BioKleen, with many emphasizing the importance of avoiding perfumes and harsh chemicals. A recurring theme was the need to protect sensitive skin by choosing products labeled for sensitive skin, wearing gloves while cleaning, and experimenting with natural oils like grape seed or hemp seed for moisturizing relief.

Definitely use products that are not perfumed that are pure including what @A MyFibroTeam Member said regarding Baby products because they are pure usually free of perfumes.

Also look for products that are Organic or Vegan because these are also chemical free.

Not sure if beauty products affect me but since I have given up cleaning I'm much much better. I mentioned this to a friend who has fibro and she said maybe it's the chemicals in the cleaning products. I was really bad at not wearing gloves while using some quite strong things like limescale remover. White Vinegar and hot water are supposed to be really good. But I would advise anyone to make sure they use gloves while cleaning. X
